Smoky quartz
The darkest of the quartz family, smoky quartz, obtains this chromatism thanks to its exposure to temperatures between 300º and 400º. The elegant and sober smoky shades of brown or gray are what characterize the smoky quartz. It is curious to know that the traditional Scottish kilts were closed with needles adorned with smoky quartz. It encourages concentration and positive thinking.
