Peridot
The name probably derives from the Arabic word Faridat (Jewel), commonly the name Oliví has also been used due to its olive green color. The ancient Egyptians called it "the jewel of the sun"; in fact, it is said to have been Cleopatra’s favorite gemstone. It is lemon green in color and is characterized by its oily and bright appearance, similar to that of glass.
