Our gold
100% recycled gold & platinium
One of the major commitments we took on as a brand from day one is to create all our jewellery in a way that's aware of and respectful to both you and the environment. We only work with 100% recycled gold to avoid the huge environmental and social impact caused by the mining of this metal.
Gold is one of the most widely used metals in jewellery as well as other industries such as electronics. Every day, a large amount of gold is produced that we can (re)use to create wonderful pieces of jewellery. And that's precisely what we do.
Our metals come from Team and Timing SL, a company that melts and recovers noble metals, with manager code E-346.97 and producer code P-14267-1, granted by the Catalan government. They supply us with pure 24k gold (999 gold), which we use to create our own 18k gold alloy or 950mm platinum.
18 karats yellow gold gets its colour from being an alloy of pure recycled gold, copper and silver. Roosik&Co uses this range to gets an equilibrated yellow colour. It's solid gold. It's eternal.

18 karats white gold gets its colour from being an alloy of pure recycled gold and at least one white metal, in our case palladium. Roosik&Co uses palladium to achieve a whiter result. It's solid gold. It's eternal.
76% Pure gold recycled / 10% Palladium / 9% Silver / 5% Copper
Platinium gets its colour naturally, though it's really soft and we alloyed with copper. Platinum is a member of the platinum group of elements and group 10 of the periodic table of elements. It has six naturally occurring isotopes. It is one of the rarer elements in Earth's crust, with an average abundance of approximately 5 μg/kg.
